Beautiful Dévoré dyeings using Marabu-SilkArt and Marabu-EasyColor

It is now very easy to carry out the marvellous, fashionable two-step dévoré dyeing by yourself at home. The classic dévoré-dyeing of silk-viscose fabrics works in two steps; i.e. two dyeings are made one after another ("two-dyeings technique"). But even a one-step dyeing can be very attractive (see recipes 1, 14, 17).

We have compiled the 17 most beautiful colour combinations for you here, and we show you how simple dévoré dyeing with Marabu-SilkArt and Marabu-EasyColor is.

For one dyeing you require:

  • Marabu-SilkArt (see recipes 1-17)
  • Marabu-EasyColor (see recipes 1-17)
  • Dévoré scarf/square
  • 3 litres water
  • 6 level tablespoons of salt
  • Marabu-Conditioner to improve resistance to perspiration
  • 1 rustless pot
  • rubber gloves
  • stove or hot-plate
  • 1 spoon, 1 tablespoon, 1 teaspoon
  • wash-basin or bowl for washing out the dyed cloth
  • foil to cover working surface
