Marabu-FashionColor

Textile colour for dyeing in the washing machine. Suitable for natural fibres such as cotton, linen, viscose as well as for mixed-fibre fabrics up to a maximum 20 % synthetic content. Hand-dyeing silk is also possible, using different instructions. Wash fabrics first to remove dressing. Marabu-FashionColor has a good fading resistance, is very yielding and easy to handle. Using one pack of Marabu-FashionColor, 500 –1500 gms of fabrics can be dyed in brilliant colours. At the same time, intense or delicate pastel shades can be individually selected. In addition, one kilo of salt is required, for each dyeing operation.

Fabrics dyed with Marabu-FashionColor are machine wash-resistant. The product leaves no residue in the washing mashine. Hand-dyeing is also possible – always follow the instructions.

The original colour shades can only be achieved on white textiles. For coloured fabrics, please refer to the Overdyeing Table, Overdyeing always has to be made from light to darker shades. Mixed shades will always result even when overdyeing with black. It is therefore recommended that the original colour should be removed with the help of a bleaching agent before dyeing. Afterwards this fabric should be washed with a suitable washing powder in order to remove the bleaching agent. Only then can overdyeing take place.
