With Magnetic Primer from Marabu, all surfaces can easily be turned into magnetic surfaces. Whether in a child’s room, kitchen or office – drawings, notices, postcards, shopping lists and lots more can be fastened without the need for nails, drawing pins or hooks.
Marabu-Magnetico is water based, ready-to-use and can be easily applied on all smooth surfaces such as wood, board, canvas, plastic, etc. When dry the prepared area can be over-painted with all Marabu-Acrylic Paints and be given a creative treatment.

Working Guidelines:
Please note that the substrate must be dry, grease and dust-free. Thoroughly stir before use as iron particles can form sediment when stored. We recommend applying three undiluted crosswise coats of Magnetic Primer using a brush or foam roller. Multiple coats increase the magnetic effect. Clean equipment with water and soap immediately after use. Coverage approx. 500 ml per area of
0.8 – 1 m² depending on application.

When dry (approx. 24 hours) the primer is waterproof and can be over-painted and decorated with all Marabu-Acrylic Paints such as
Marabu-Decormatt, Marabu-Decorlack or Marabu-BasicAcryl. In combination with
Marabu-Blackboard Paint, you get a multifunctional magnetic board suitable for writing on with chalk and keeping notices, photos or other documents.
