- If a base coat has been applied to the surface using another paint, this shows through the crackled areas when the crackle paint has dried.
How it is done:
- Firstly, prime the boxes using the crackle effect. Use a brush for this.
- When the crackle effect has dried, the crackle paint can be applied using a palette knife.
If you apply the paint more thickly, the crackle effect will also stand out more.
- When the paint has dried, the boxes can be accessorized with a leather cord or another type of decorative ribbon.
