Designing vases with Marabu DO IT Craft Paint and Colorspray

How it is done:

• The vases should first be cleaned so that they are clean, dry and free of dust and grease. Then cover the work area to ensure that the surrounding area is not affected by the spray mist. The vases can also be sprayed in a large cardboard box, for example. It is best to spray outdoors. Wear protective clothing (gloves, respirator).
• Remove the actuators from the cans and remove the red safety valve. Replace the actuators and caps and shake the cans for 2 to 3 minutes. Spray a piece of the cap first to make sure there are no solids in the actuator.
• Spray the center of the vase with a top coat of the first color. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly before moving on to the second color.
• To apply the second color, start on the outside of the vase and spray all the way around the vase to cover it. Keep a larger distance between the spray paint and the vase in the area of the color transition. This will reduce the amount of paint reaching the center of the vase, creating a smooth transition. Allow the second coat to dry thoroughly.
• If necessary, create another color gradient in a third color as described in step 4. Allow everything to dry well.
• After spraying, turn the cans upside down and spray the riser tube empty until only gas escapes to prevent the valve from clogging.
• The sprayed vase can then be painted in wavy lines using DO IT Craft Paint and a brush.
• Another design option for vases is to paint them with successive curved wavy lines. The easiest way to do this is to draw the first line in the middle of the vase with a pencil and then follow it with the first shade of DO IT Craft Paint and a brush.
• Further waves in different shades can then build upwards and downwards along the first line.
• So kann nun die gesamte Vase mit Wellenlinien gestaltet werden. Ggf. wird jeweils eine zweite Schicht Farbe benötigt, um ein deckendes Ergebnis zu erzielen. Alles gut trocknen lassen.
