Baby rompers sweet as sugar

How it is done:
- Wash the textiles without conditioner before painting to remove all residue of finishes. Then leave to dry and iron. Now place a piece of cardboard inside or underneath the textile to prevent the paint from seeping through to the back. Stretch the fabric on a smooth surface with masking tape to make sure it is smooth.
- Then spray Fix-it adhesive spray on the stencil, leave to dry briefly and position on the textile.
Dab on the desired shade of textile paint with a stippling brush. Colour transitions can be achieved while the paint is still wet. (Clean the stencil thoroughly before reusing to avoid soiling the fabric.)
- Use the Fashion Liner to add special highlights with a great shimmer effect.
- Leave the textile to dry for two hours, laying flat and stretched (six hours if using Fashion Liner). Then iron each painted section from the front through a thin cloth or a sheet of baking paper for 5 minutes at cotton setting or fix in the oven for 8 minutes at 150°C. (Check the heat resistance of the fabric first.) Afterwards the textile will be washable up to 60°C (up to 40°C if using Fashion Liner).
