Instructions:

1. Avant de le peindre, nettoyer le coquetier au préalable avec du produit vaisselle et une petite éponge. Frotter ensuite avec de l‘alcool à brûler pour enlever toute trace de graisse et de poussière.

2. Écrire sur un papier avec les marqueurs, puis peindre directement sur la surface extérieure du coquetier. Laisser sécher l‘application de peinture pendant 4 heures.

3. Faire ensuite cuire le coquetiers au four sans préchauffage à 160 °C pendant 30 minutes. Laisser finalement refroidir au four. Les coquetiers sont alors prêts à résister au lave-vaisselle jusqu‘à 50 °C.

Omitting cutting areas and drinking edges

Glass and porcelain objects have to be cleaned thoroughly before painting. For especially effective cleaning, scrub the object with an abrasive detergent and a sponge and then wipe with Marabu Cleaner or with white spirit to ensure it is free from dust and grease. Before painting, rinse off all detergent residue with plenty of clean water.Fingerprints

When using Porcelain for KIDS, Porcelain Painter and Glas Painter with children please note: Do not touch the cleaned painting surface with your hands. Fingerprints can prevent the paint from adhering properly.

No food contact

Regarding the intended use of the Marabu Porcelain & Glass Painter KIDS, we would like to point out that the Marabu Porcelain & Glass Painter KIDS are only intended for decoration purposes, i.e. no food contact. We therefore recommend that you do not paint the cut surfaces, inner surfaces and drinking rim when designing e.g. cups, glasses, bowls and plates that are intended for food contact.

Baking the Porcelain & Glas Painter

Can Marabu Porcelain & Glas Painter also be baked?

Yes, it is recommended for dishwasher proof results. After letting it dry for at least 4 hours, place the object in the cold oven and heat to 160°C for 30 minutes. Let it cool down inside the oven after switching it off.

Pen does not write correctly

What to do if the pen does not write correctly?
Turn the pen upside down so that the tip fills with ink.

Painting and designing dinnerware

Our porcelain, glass and acrylic paint (Glass Paint/Acrylic Paint/Porcelain & Glass Painter, Porcelain & Glass Painter KIDS) is basically non-toxic and also saliva-proof. Nevertheless, we recommend not to paint drinking rims and cut surfaces of tableware, as the paint is not approved for direct food contact.
