Abstract stretcher trilogy with Marabu Acryl Colour and Marabu YONO Marker

How it is done:

• Cover the working area well with foil or paper and lay out all the working materials. First prime the three stretcher frames with white gesso and allow to dry well. Gesso creates a fine, pure white surface and later ensures a smooth application and good adhesion of the acrylic paints.
  
• Then the stretcher frames can be designed abstractly with Acryl Color shades. There is no limit to the creative imagination: all colours can be mixed with each other to create new colour nuances. Create any colour areas and paint shapes on the stretcher frames. The colours can also be painted into each other and on top of each other.
• To make the brush stroke visible, pick up paint with the brush and brush the paint off again on a piece of paper so that there is hardly any paint left in the brush. Then stroke the almost dry brush over the stretcher and leave fine colour accents. Once all the stretcher frames have been painted with the acrylic paint, allow everything to dry thoroughly.
• Then shake the YONO markers with the cap closed for 60 seconds and gently press the tip onto some paper several times to activate the ink flow. When the tip is full of ink, write the marker on the test paper.
• Then use the YONO marker to draw abstract patterns and lines on the stretcher bars and around various coloured areas.
• Colour the drawn contours with the YONO marker using acrylic paints. Finally, allow all stretcher frames to dry well.
