Tips and Tricks

  • Marabu Glow in the dark works best on a light background. Therefore, do not forget to prime.

How it is done:

  • Cover the work surface well and prepare the working materials. Roll out the modelling clay evenly on a piece of baking paper. Then cut out Christmas shapes with the biscuit cutters.
  • With the help of a moistened wooden skewer, the individual shapes are then each provided with a small hole. Now let the moulds dry completely. This can take a few days depending on the thickness and size.
  • Then prime the dried shapes with Marabu Primer and allow to dry thoroughly.
  • Now the shapes can be designed as desired with the different glow in the dark shades. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly.
  • Finally, decorate the shapes with white details. Use the flat or pointed end of the wooden skewer or a cotton bud to dab on small dots. For this, it is best to use the primer again and then let it dry well.
  • Finally, attach some cotton thread as a hanger.
