Tips and Tricks

  • The tapered ends of the clipped styles can also be painted with GREEN paint to glue to the top of the lamp as a final wreath.

How it is done:

  • Cover the work area and prepare the materials. The wooden spoons should be clean and dry. If necessary, clean them and sand them a little.
  • Then prime the spoons with cream white. Allow to dry well.
  • The next step is to paint the primed wooden spoons in orange and raspberry. For an intense color result, let the first layer dry well and then apply a 2nd layer of paint.
  • When the paint is completely dry, the handles of the spoons can be removed with the help of a side cutter.
  • Now attach the spoons in rows to the lampshade using hot glue or assembly glue. In doing so, the individual rows are always arranged slightly overlapping. Allow everything to dry well and hang the lamp.
