Tips and Tricks

The more colour you apply, the more opaque the result. Always apply one coat of paint, let it dry and then apply the next coat. Several coats of paint may be necessary for an opaque result.

How it is done:

Cover the work area and prepare the materials. Clean and dry the glasses before painting. They should be clean and dry so that the paint can adhere best.
Stick the stars on the glass and shake the alkyd paint well. Pour some paint onto a mixing palette or a piece of cardboard and pick it up with a brush. Prime the glasses with the alkyd paint to cover them. Allow everything to dry well.
After drying, remove the stars. Add a pretty ribbon around the screw cap and the candle jar is ready for use.
