Tips and Tricks

A final coat of clear varnish will protect the surface from the elements and make it dirt-repellent.

How it is done:

Cover the work area and arrange the materials.
Mark the locations of the components for the feeding station on the wood.
Cut out the components.
Sand down the edges of the components.
First, assemble the components. Then, glue them together and secure them with screws.
Allow the glued joints to dry.
Once dry, coat the feeding station with Marabu DO IT Craft Paint. Then, allow it to dry thoroughly.
To improve weather resistance, coat the feeding station with Marabu Aqua Silk-Matt Varnish. Allow the varnish to dry completely.
Fill the bottle and place it upside down in the station. Secure the bottle with wire.
