Tips and Tricks

  • Of course, electric tea lights can also find a place in the cardboard rolls.
  • Please never leave real candles burning unattended.

How it is done:

  • Place the cardboard rolls on a piece of cardboard and trace the circle of the opening from the inside with a pencil. Then cut out the cardboard circles and glue them into the cardboard roll. Approx. 1 cm below an opening, so that later the candle finds a place here.
  • Next, apply hot glue strips of different lengths all around the outside of the cardboard roll. These should look run down wax when dry. Allow the hot glue to dry well.
  • Paint the outside and inside of the cardboard rolls with GREEN Alkyd paint in black and let dry.
  • Put some GREEN Alkyd paint in cherry red and metallic silver on a piece of cardboard, dab the sponge in both colors without mixing them strongly. Now carefully paint only the hot glue wax with the sponge.
  • Once the paint is dry, the various cardboard roll candles can be glued together with hot glue to form a formation. In the troughs are still placed tea lights and the Halloween decoration is ready!
