How it is done:

  • This ensemble of vases was created using vases of various shapes and sizes. You’re sure to find such vases in your own home, your grandmother’s cellar or at a bargainous price at a flea market, for example.
  • Wash the vases well before spraying them. They should be clean, dry and free from dust and grease. This will make the paint adhere to them better.
  • Start by carefully covering the surface on which you will be working and sufficiently protecting the surrounding area from the spray mist. It is advisable to spray outdoors or in extremely well ventilated spaces. We also recommend wearing plastic gloves.
  • Shake the can until you can hear the mixing ball, then continue shaking for a further two minutes. Test spray a little paint onto a piece of cardboard.
  • Apply the a-system spray paint to the vases by spraying them in short bursts. Always keep the can upright. Leave the first coat to dry for 3 – 5 minutes then cover in a second coat.
  • To create the monochrome look, we coated all the vases in similar yet slightly different shades of beige-grey.
