TIP

  • When you are finished, turn the spray can upside down and spray until the valve is empty.

How it is done:

  • First, ensure that the area where you spray the bird house is adequately covered so that it doesn’t get marked by the paint. It is advisable to spray outdoors or in extremely well ventilated spaces. Use the first paint as a primer to cover the entire bird house. To do this, carefully remove the spray nozzles from the cans and take out the red safety valve. Put the nozzles and caps back in place and shake the cans for 2–3 minutes. Spray the paint onto some newspaper to ensure that the paint hasn’t solidified in the nozzles.
  • Once the paint has dried, you can spray a part of the house in a second colour. Create the colour gradient by spraying the area where the first and second colours meet. As you do this, gradually increase the distance between the nozzle and the house. A subtle colour transition will be the result.
  • To give the bird house a natural look, you can glue some artificial ivy on the roof. Use the hot glue gun to do this.
