Flower wreath with eggs and Marabu YONO Marker

Flowers belong to spring like eggs belong to Easter. With this DIY flower wreath, however, you don’t have to choose, but can combine everything together. And it’s not just the pretty flowers that bring colour into play here – our YONO markers also add great accents!

Tips and Tricks

  • When gluing the eggs together, a suitable shape (e.g. round plate, baking tin, or similar) can also provide some support and orientation. Simply align the eggs around the edge of the mould and glue them together.

How it is done:

  • Clean the outside of the blown-out eggs thoroughly. They must be clean and dry before shaping.
  • Then carefully open the top of the eggs. A teaspoon can help here by gently tapping the top of the eggs to break the shell. Then carefully remove the shell with your fingers until the desired opening is reached.
  • Before first use, shake the YONO markers with the cap closed for 60 seconds and gently press the tip onto some paper several times to activate the ink flow. When the tip is full of ink, write on the test paper.
  • Now the eggs can be decorated with a pattern of colourful dots using the YONO markers.
  • Once the paint has dried, glue the eggs together with the help of the hot glue gun to form a round wreath. Then fill some water into the individual eggs to decorate them with flowers and greenery.
