Masking tape

Self-adhesive film

How it is done:

To prepare cover the worktop generously with film.
To start prime the entire surface of the canvas frame with Acryl Color using the paint roller. Then paint the edges. Leave the canvas frame to dry or dry with the hair-dryer until it is bone dry.
Then spread two or more colours on the canvas frame and roll over with the paint roller. Dry the paint briefly with the hair-dryer.
Spread the white acrylic paint unevenly with a wide bristle brush and then blow dry again.
Then to the masking! Mask the canvas frame in a brick pattern with a crepe adhesive tape. Different patterns are created depending on the distances and width of the masking tape.
Then apply the white acrylic paint to the entire surface with the paint roller.
Remove the adhesive tape while the paint is still wet. Dry the paint with a hair-dryer.
To reinforce the vintage effect, wipe the surface unevenly once again with white acrylic paint using a wide bristle brush.
If you are using your own stencil design, place the design stencil beneath the adhesive film, trace the design and cut out carefully with a hobby knife. Stick the cut-out stencil in the required position.
For golden glitter effects, smooth Acryl Color paint glitter gold generously over the stencil design with a paint brush or paint knife.
Carefully remove the stencil while the paint is still wet. The thicker the coat, the greater the glitter effect.
Then straighten up the canvas frame and allow black, greatly diluted acrylic paint to flow down over the canvas from edge of the picture. Spray diluted acrylic paint in irregular splashes on the picture as a perfect finish. That's it!
