IT’S EASY WHEN YOU KNOW HOW!

  • You can print several times with the same paper template but have to work quickly. You should therefore determine where and how often the template should be printed onto the bag before you start printing. This enables you to reposition the screen as soon as you are done with the first print so you can quickly print again in a different colour. Take care not to place the screen on wet paint.

How it is done:

  • Either design the motif yourself or print templates onto conventional printer or copier paper.
  • Use a cutter to carefully cut out the inner sections of the templates then stick them onto the flat side of the screen with adhesive tape.
  • Push a little cardboard into the bag to prevent the paint from soaking through to the other side, then place the screen on the bag. The flat side of the screen must lie flat against the fabric. Next, use the spatula to apply an approx. 1 cm thick line of Textil Print paint to the top edge of the screen.
  • Working from top to bottom, use the squeegee to spread out the paint over the motif without applying any pressure. Next, slide the squeegee from the top of the motif to the bottom again, applying even pressure, to transfer the Textil Print paint to the fabric.
  • Lift the screen off the bag, remove the paper template and clean the screen under running water.
  • Next, check if the first print has already dried somewhat. If so, you can continue with the next printing process by repeating the instructions for the first motif.
  • This results in a pattern of motifs in various colours on the front of the bag. You can either use the paints as they come or create your own custom colours by mixing paints together. If you do combine colours, please take care to fully stir them together to avoid streaks.
