Tips and Tricks

  • The transfer technique works best when the paint is still wet.

How it is done:

  • First cover the work area well, put on a painting smock or apron if necessary and prepare the working materials. Pour some KiDS Little Artist in Green into the wells of the painting palette and use a brush to apply a simple, sweeping zigzag shape to a sheet of paper.
  • Using a round brush, dab a few more dots of red, yellow and pink on the zigzag line. Then place a second sheet of paper exactly on top of the painted paper and gently brush over it so that the wet paint transfers to the second sheet of paper.
  • Carefully peel off the top sheet of paper and allow the prints to dry thoroughly before proceeding to the next step.
  • If desired, decorate the printed Christmas trees with stickers, glitter or other paintings.
  • Finally, cut the prints as gift tags or send them as Christmas greetings.
