How it is done:

  • Pre-clean the egg cups with scouring milk and a sponge before painting. Finally, wipe off any fingerprints with Marabu Cleaner or spirit. Do not pre-clean in the dishwasher.
  • First write the pens on a piece of paper. Then paint the overalls with the Porcelain & Glass Painters in different colours, the yellow background last.
  • Leave the egg cups to dry for at least 4 hours, then place in a cold oven and heat to 160°C for 30 minutes. Then leave to cool in the switched-off oven. Now the egg cups are dishwasher safe.
  • Paint the eggshells with craft paint in yellow using a brush and leave to dry.
  • Draw on the faces with the YONO marker. To do this, first shake the YONO marker with the cap closed for 60 seconds. The mixing ball in the marker makes a clicking sound. Slowly press the tip in several times on a piece of test paper until ink is visible. When the ink flow is activated, the tip slowly fills up. When the tip is full of ink, write the marker on the test paper. Then design the faces as desired.
  • Finally, fill the dried eggshells with cotton wool and moisten the cotton wool with water using a spray bottle. Sprinkle in the cress seeds. Now sprinkle the cress seeds evenly on the damp cotton wool. Place the filled egg shells in a bright place and moisten the seeds daily so that the cress begins to germinate.
