How it is done:

  • Cover the work area and prepare the materials. All individual parts to be painted should be clean. If necessary, clean and allow to dry before painting.
  • Drill through wooden parts using a cordless drill with a suitable wood drill attachment. The holes should be large enough so that the logs can be easily pushed through them. Particularly heavy parts should be used as feet for more stability. A hole is drilled in each of these feet into which the roundwood rods can be inserted exactly.
  • Then prime all wooden parts in cream white. Allow to dry well.
  • While the primer dries, if necessary, you can prepare other shapes from modeling clay. These molds are also provided with a hole with the help of the rods.
  • When the modeling clay has hardened, the wooden parts and the shaped elements can be colorfully painted with the GREEN colors. For an intense color result, let the first layer dry well and then apply a 2nd layer of paint.
  • Once the paint is dry, individual parts additionally patterned with the help of a fine brush.
  • Finally, assemble the sculpture as desired. To do this, first insert the wooden rods into the feet and then attach the individual parts one after the other.
