Tips and Tricks

  • Stencils can also be easily made from paper or cardboard. Simply transfer the desired motif onto the backing material and cut it out.

How it is done:

  • Cover the work area and prepare the working materials. Available recyclable materials such as bubble wrap, corrugated cardboard or woven woven can also be used for stencilling and stamping.
  • Wrapping paper can be wrapping paper, newspapers, posters, maps, old sheet music and much more. It is best to design the wrapping paper before the gifts are wrapped. If the paper is thin and the colour is very thick, the back of the paper may be coloured.
  • Shake the Marabu GREEN Alkyd Paint before use. Then pour some paint onto a piece of cardboard and pick up the paint with a sponge. Place the stencil on the wrapping paper as desired and dab the paint over the stencil motif with the sponge. Always dab from the top of the stencil. Finally, remove the stencil and clean it with water. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly.
  • For printing, shake up the alkyd paint before use and pour some paint onto a piece of cardboard. Coat a piece of bubble wrap, for example, with a brush.
  • Place the bubble wrap on the paper and press down carefully. Lift off the foil again. Design the paper as you like. Finally, let the paint dry.
