How it is done:
- First, clean the mirror so that it is free of any dust and grease. Seal off a small section of the mirror using the tape. Ensure that you firmly press down the edges of the tape so that no paint can run under the tape. Use a brush to generously apply your choice of glass paint to cover the area you have taped off. Leave for 1-2 hours before removing the tape.
- When the glass paint is completely dry, use the glass pens to trace individual tropical leaves in dark green and orange. Shake the pens well before applying the paint and tap: to do so, press the tip onto a piece of scrap paper several times until the ink becomes visible.
- To achieve a more intense coverage, wait until the paint is dry and then paint over the leaves in the same colour again. Allow to dry completely. You can set the paint in the oven, but this is not absolutely necessary for use as a decorative mirror.
