Frida Kahlo – a picture with Marabu Aqua Ink Graphix

How it is done:

• Use the pencil to sketch out the design roughly on paper. Then use the brush tip of the Aqua Pencils to sketch out the outlines of the leaves and flowers, as well as the individual flower petals.
• Then use a soft, fine brush and a very small amount of water to lightly paint over the lines. Less is more here. Don’t use too much water because using a small amount of water prevents the Aqua Pencils from running too much.
• Then, add a small amount of water to the hair area using a brush. Now use Aqua Ink in black to create the dark hair. Once the picture has dried, you can frame it, for example, using a mount.
