How it is done:

Cover the work surface with paper. Have a piece of paper from the set and kitchen towels ready to wipe the squeegee after each color.
Using the colors provided, draw the shape of a birthday cake from top to bottom on a piece of paper.
You can choose from dots, straight lines, and curved lines.
Use the squeegee to pull the applied paint from top to bottom across the painting surface. Clean the squeegee.
After the paint has dried, use the fine tip of the permanent marker to add details to the cake.
Use the thin tip of the permanent marker to write "Happy Birthday" on the cake. Sketching it out with a pencil first will help you achieve a neat result.
