IT’S EASY WHEN YOU KNOW HOW!
- You can mix any combination of Textil Print paints. To achieve a darker shade of green, for example, you can mix the Textil Print paint in light green with black.
How it is done:
- Use a soft pencil to draw a leaf design on the soft printing sheet. Use the block printing tool to cut the sheet so that the contours of the leaf are raised and the planes are recessed.
- Place a piece of cardboard inside the pillowcase to prevent the paint from soaking through to the other side. Apply some Textil Print paint to the foam roller and roll this onto the design on the printing sheet. Place the sheet onto the pillowcase in the desired place and press it on carefully. Remove the sheet, apply more paint to the sheet again and add extraordinary leaf designs to your pillowcase.
- After the paint has dried, set in the oven for 8 minutes at 150 °C.
- After this, you can add extra transparent designs using our Textil Aquarelle. In order to do this, moisten the fabric and paint on your design using the watercolours. The more water you use, the more transparent the shade will be and the more the paint will run. After the paint has dried, set the watercolour paint in the oven (see above). You can wash the pillowcases at up to 40 °C.
