Cute baby bodysuits with Marabu Pluster Pen

How it is done:

• First of all, all textiles must be washed before painting to ensure that they are free of finishes. Please wash without fabric softener. Then dry and iron smooth.
• Push a piece of cardboard into the body or bag so that no colour can bleed through to the back. Slide the motif template under the front of the fabric. Now the motif outlines are visible through the fabric and can be traced with a pencil or a phantom pen for textiles.
• Then design the motifs as desired. It is best to paint the surfaces with a brush and Marabu Textil. Stir the paint well before painting.
• Before continuing with the Pluster Pen, the textile paint must be fixed, otherwise the Pluster Pen will not fluff up later. Therefore, after several hours of drying time, fix the textile paint Marabu Textil for 3 minutes per painted area with the iron from the front through a thin cloth on cotton setting (150 °C).
• Trace the motif contours with the Pluster Pen. Either trace with a continuous line or with small strokes so that the contours look like embroidery. In both cases, always press the tip of the liner lightly into the fabric. Allow the colour to dry for at least 6 hours.
• When dry, place a soft towel on the ironing board. Place the painted side with the Pluster Pen on the towel. This way, the Pluster Pen colour application lies softly and has room to plump down into the soft underlay. Place a towel over the textile and iron each painted area at cotton temperature without pressure for approx. 2 to 3 minutes until the Pluster Pen foams up matt and in relief. Afterwards, the textiles are washable up to 40°C. Please always wash and iron inside out.
