Scandi-look side table
This cute little table is totally hyggelig. You can build it in next to no time and give it an elegant look with Colorado Gold. Placed next to a sofa, it’s the perfect place to put your coffee and your favourite magazine.

Four 45 cm long round wooden cylinders with a diameter of 25 mm
Square-shaped plywood board, roughly 25 mm thick and approx. 32 cm in length
Fast-drying wood glue
Set square
Cotton string
Masking tape
Scissors
COLORADO GOLD
- This metallic paint adds a layer of gold to any object. It is water-based and smudge-proof once dry.
How it is done:
- First, add the table legs by glueing the cylinders to the underside of the plywood board. Ideally, you should use a pencil to mark out where each leg should be attached to the board. Apply the glue to the legs and hold them in place for three minutes.
- Then, use some masking tape to mark off a section on each leg roughly 10 cm from the floor. Apply the metallic effect paint to the wood with a brush. Once the first coat of paint has dried, apply a second. Leave the paint to dry thoroughly and then remove the masking tape.
- Cut two pieces of string. Wrap the string diagonally around two legs once and tie. The rest of the string can simply be trimmed.
