NOTE

  • Marabu Textil Design for decorating almost all types of textiles, for example, cotton, mixed fibres, artificial fibres or jute (it may be necessary to test patch it in
    advance).
  • It is not suitable for everyday clothing.
  • Marabu Textil Design is wash-resistant up to 30 °C.

How it is done:

  • First, ensure that the area where you spray is adequately covered so that it doesn’t get marked by the paint. It is advisable to spray outdoors or in extremely well ventilated spaces. Then place the blind on the work surface. Make sure everything that isn’t going to be sprayed is completely covered with paper and fix it in place (e.g. with sellotape).
  • Position the stencil where you wish to place your design and fix it in place using Sellotape. You may also need to cover up any other designs on the stencil that you don’t wish to include on the blind. NB: be sure to securely cover the areas around the stencil.
  • Remove the spray nozzles from the cans and take out the red safety valve. Put the nozzles and caps back in place and shake the cans for 2–3 minutes. Spray the paint onto some newspaper to ensure that the paint hasn’t solidified in the nozzles.
  • Spray the design onto the blind from a distance of around 20 cm using the textile spray. Before you remove the protective covers, be sure to leave everything to dry for around 20 minutes. To create additional designs, move the stencil to a different part of the fabric and repeat the process.
