Street Art: Shoes with an Urban Chic Style!
Turn simple white shoes into a pair of trendy trainers. You can also use Art Stencils from the “Mixed Media” Marabu range to create a unique street art style!

White canvas trainers
Masking tape
Paper/cardboard to cover the fabric
How it is done:
- The upper material of the light-coloured trainers should ideally be made of cotton. If possible, wash the shoes before spraying. Mask off the soles and toes with masking tape. Remove the laces.
- Spray each shoe with Marabu Fashion Spray in Grey.
- Place the Marabu Art Stencil "Bricks" as flat as possible on the desired side and spray with Marabu Fashion Spray in Black. Then carefully remove the stencil so that no surplus paint drips onto the shoe.
- Leave the paint to dry thoroughly and then remove the masking tape. Finally clean the metal eyelets with cotton buds so that the laces are not stained.
Now create the design on the second shoe.
- Fix your shoes in a fan oven for 8 minutes at 150°C so that you can also use them in the rain. And now your designer shoes are "ready to wear"
