Tips and Tricks

  • Always close the YONO marker tightly after use with a distinct clicking sound and store it horizontally.
  • Store the marker horizontally.

How it is done:

  • Before painting, wash the jacket without fabric softener to remove any finishes. Allow to dry and iron afterwards. Cover the work area well and prepare the working materials.
  • Draw your face line motif of choice freehand in pencil on the sketchpad or print out a design as a template. It is best to practice the motif a few times on the sketchpad before transferring it to the sweat jacket. We recommend that you first transfer the design with a pencil or sublimate pen. Experienced line artists can of course also start right away with the YONO marker.
  • Before first use, shake the YONO marker with the cap closed for 60 seconds. The mixing ball in the marker makes a clacking sound. Slowly press the tip in several times on a piece of test paper until ink is visible. When the ink flow is activated, the tip slowly fills up. When the tip is full of ink, write on the marker on the test paper.
  • Trace the pencil or sublimated pencil outline with the YONO marker. Or draw the motif directly onto the sweat jacket with the YONO marker. For an even color application, pump the YONO marker regularly on a sheet of paper. A great effect is created when the hood of the jacket is included in the motif.
  • In the next step, design the fingernails in a bright tone and the eye, for example, with a blue and a white light dot. Then let everything dry well.
  • After drying, iron each designed area of the jacket from the front through a thin cloth at cotton temperature for 3 minutes (without steam). For the size of the motif, we recommend fixing in the oven: 8 minutes at 150 °C. For this purpose, please check the label information of the sweat jacket and check for any accessories such as e. g. buttons, zippers that may not be heat resistant.
