Cropped T-shirt (cotton; up to 20% synthetic fibres)
Self-adhesive dots
Plastic film or paper (for the worktop or table)
Cardboard to cover the fabric
Disposable gloves
Paper towel, masking tape, scissors

Tipp

  • Please make sure that the fabric does not contain more than 20% synthetic fibres, otherwise the paint cannot be fixed.

How it is done:

  • Wash the top without fabric conditioner before painting to completely remove all residue of finishes. Then leave to dry and iron flat if necessary. Prepare all materials. Cover the worktop generously with plastic film or paper.
  • Turn the T-shirt inside out and place a piece of paper or cardboard between the fabric layers to prevent the paint from seeping through to the back.
  • Cover the shirt sleeves as well so that they remain white. Now spray the top with Fashion Spray Red from bottom to top and then leave to dry or dry with a hair dryer so that you can quickly continue to work.
  • Colour the back of the T-shirt in Red as well. The results will be particularly interesting if you cover areas with self-adhesive dots when spraying the fabric. Simply stick on the dots...
  • ...spray, remove the dots, leave to dry and you're finished! Leave the T-shirt to dry for approx. 2 hours.
  • Then turn it back the right way round so that the inside is sprayed. This creates a great unusual effect: the paint now shimmers through the white shirt.
  • The white top can then still be sprayed in a different colour to make it even more interesting. Apply adhesive dots again and colour the lower part with Fashion Spray in Red Orange.
  • The neckline here was heavily accentuated with a brush and Fashion Spray.
  • Fixing: Iron the top from the front through a thin cloth or a sheet of baking paper for 3 minutes at a cotton setting or fix in a pre-heated oven for 8 minutes at 150°C. Check the heat resistance of the fabric first. Then the textile will be washable up to 40 °C.
