IT’S EASY WHEN YOU KNOW HOW!

  • Those areas that are tied will remain white, i.e. the less the fabric is tied, the more paint will be on the finished piece.

How it is done:

  • The t-shirt must be light-coloured and free from finishes and fabric softener. You should therefore wash them without softener before spraying them. Carefully cover the working surface with plastic sheeting or paper.
  • Be sure to thoroughly moisten fabric first so that the paint will spread. Pull the front of the T-shirt up in the middle. Work your way down the fabric, tying it in several places. The more you tie the fabric, the more circles will be created.
  • Shake the Fashion-Spray before use and spray 2 – 3 times on a neutral surface (e.g. paper). Spray the tied sections in different colours. Use a generous amount of paint when spraying. After spraying, make sure you leave plenty of time for the paint to set (at least 30 mins or overnight).
  • Remove the rubber bands using a pair of scissors and very carefully unfold the fabric so that the colours don’t mix.
  • After drying, either iron the sprayed fabric from the front through a thin cloth or a sheet of baking paper for 3 minutes on a cotton setting without steam or fix in a pre-heated oven for 8 minutes at 150 °C. Check the heat resistance of the fabric first. The jeans are then machine washable at up to 40 °C. Always wash inside out.
