Tips and Tricks

We used dried grasses, dried wheat and dried twigs of sea lilac and gypsophila for the dried flowers. These are all available from florists and can easily be dried yourself by leaving the branches in a vase without water for a few days.

How it is done:

First draw stripes on the back of the corrugated cardboard, then cut them out with scissors.
Now prime both sides of the strips with GREEN alkyd paint and allow to dry.
When the paint is completely dry, place the strips around the old glasses as sleeves and fix them in place with a little hot glue.
Now you can decorate the lanterns with dried flowers. Insert small twigs into the holes in the corrugated cardboard. Finally, add electric tea lights.
