Tokyo Girl for your Art Journal

How it is done:

• To prepare, cover the worktop generously with plastic film. First choose your manuscript paper and tear this as you wish. Use the paint knife to apply Marabu Collage Glue to a Marabu Mixed Media Ring Binder of any size.
• Place the manuscript paper on one page of the ring binder and coat it with gel until the paper bonds to the surface. Dry with a hair dryer.
• Paint the left-hand area of the picture with Marabu Acryl Color in White. Use a wide bristle brush to do this. Leave to dry.
• Dilute a little black acrylic paint with water and paint the outline of the girl with a thin brush.
• Create the face with eyes and a mouth. Paint the fine details of the face with a very thin brush.
• Create the girl's hair in Black and the dress in Red. Place the Marabu Silhouette Stencil "Romantic Butterfly" on the lower right-hand corner of the dress. Spray this with Marabu Art Spray in Cherry Red and Sunshine Yellow and then dry with a hair dryer.
• In the next step, place the Marabu Art Stencil "Blooming Garden" on the surface and spray with Marabu Art Spray in Sunshine Yellow and Cherry Red. Dry the applied paint with a hair dryer.
• Prime the face with Marabu Acryl Color in White and define the checks in Pink. Paint the mouth with a thinner brush in Cherry Red.
• Paint the flower with a brush and acrylic paint in Blue and Yellow. Paint the hair bow too with Acryl Color in Orange. Finally paint the dots on the bow with a fine brush and white acrylic paint.
• Use a white Marabu Deco Painter to add the fine details to the flower, the structure of the petals and the girl's hair bow. Shake the Painter well before use with the cap on. Pump by pressing down the tip several times until the ink shows. Then write with the Painter on a piece of paper, not directly on the object to be painted.
• Apply Marabu Acryl Color in Glitter Gold with a paint knife to achieve a great glitter effect and then dry with a hair dryer.
• You have now finished the beautiful entry in your art journal and you can admire it!
