Tips and Tricks

  • For an even application of paint, pump regularly.

How it is done:

  • Wash the trench coat without fabric softener before painting, so that any finishes are removed. Allow to dry and iron. Cover the work area well and have the work materials ready. Slide a piece of paper between the layers so that the paint does not rub off onto the back of the trench coat.
  • Before first use, shake the YONO marker with the cap closed for 60 seconds. The mixing ball in the marker makes a clacking sound. Slowly press the tip in several times on a piece of test paper until ink is visible. When the ink flow is activated, the tip slowly fills up. When the tip is full of ink, write on the marker on the test paper.
  • Draw on the trench coat with the YONO marker as desired. If you are unsure, you can also draw the motif on a paper a few times first to test it.
  • Allow the paint application to dry and then fix it for better durability. It is best to fix cotton fabric in the oven at 150 degrees Celsius for 8 minutes. Attention: remove non-heat-resistant accessories such as buttons, belt buckles if possible. For synthetics and mixed fabrics, fix by ironing: 3 min. (30 x 30 cm each) from the front through a thin cotton cloth at cotton temperature without steam.
