Tips and Tricks

  • All GREEN colours can be mixed with each other. To achieve the muted earth tones of the holders, for example, light red, medium yellow, cream white, cream beige and slate were mixed together.

How it is done:

  • Cover the work area well and prepare the working materials. First form individual round sheets from the soft clay. The best way to do this is to first form an even roll, which is then laid into a bow. To make the bows particularly stable, the ends of the bows can be cut off smoothly with a sharp knife.
  • Then moisten a wooden skewer and pierce it through the middle of the bows to create the hole for the dried flowers. Now smooth the bows a little more with moistened fingers before they have to dry for approx. 1-3 days (depending on the thickness). During the drying process, it is advisable to turn the bows to another side from time to time so that all areas can dry well.
  • After the bows have completely hardened, they can be decorated with the GREEN colour shades. Allow the paint to dry well and decorate the holders with dried flowers.
