Tips and Tricks

  • The matte, creamy alkyd paint is suitable for paper, cardboard, canvas, wood, MDF, stone and much more.

How it is done:

  • Cover the work area well with foil or paper and prepare the working materials. Depending on the available size and shape, you can create very different vases from different egg cartons. In the example we have tinkered with a 30 egg pallet and in the first step cut out of this cardboard two equally large elongated pieces.
  • The edges on the short sides should be cut so that they can be neatly tucked over each other.
  • In the next step, carefully tamp the two pieces together for more flexibility.
  • Then connect the two pieces together with hot glue. Here you can also glue several pieces of egg carton to achieve an even larger diameter.
  • Finally, design the egg carton with the GREEN Alkyd paint as desired. Then simply place a matching empty screw-top jar without a lid inside the carton to use it as a vase.
