Cardboard tube animals with Marabu KiDS craft paint
The animals are on the loose! An entire woodland animal scene can be quickly created from brightly painted cardboard tubes. What wild fun!

Tips and Tricks
- All colours can be mixed together.
- Washes out of fabric at 30 °C. Dried on paint should be rinsed first in lukewarm soapy water. Wash out promptly.
How it is done:
- Start by cutting out the features (ears, eyes, nose, feet, spiky back etc.) for the various animals from cardboard.
- Paint the cardboard tubes and features in the desired base colour and leave to fully dry.
- Stick the features to the cardboard tubes. Paint on the delicate details like the animals’ faces, paws or whiskers using a fine brush.
- Also cut out and paint the trees. To create the trucks, cut out pieces of cardboard tubes of various heights, paint them and create a notch for the crown of the tree. Stick on the crowns.
