Tips and Tricks

The motif can also be sketched first with a pencil before painting with Marabu GREEN.

How it is done:

Cover the work area well and have the working materials ready. To achieve a clean result, first mask off the areas that are to be coloured with the tape.
Then prime the spine of the folder with a light-coloured primer. Depending on the colour of the file spine, several coats may be necessary to achieve an opaque result. The paint should always dry well between the individual coats.
Once the primer is completely dry, the desired motif can be painted on with the GREEN colours. Various muted earth and blue-grey tones were mixed together as colours for the motif.
