Tips and Tricks

  • Do not apply Marabu Decoupage & Serviette varnish and glue too often over the freshly applied motif, otherwise it may tear.

How it is done:

  • First, roll out the modeling clay to a thickness of approx. 4 mm on some baking paper using an acrylic roller or a rolling pin. Then cut out the bunnies using the shapes and pierce them with a needle. The edges of the bunnies can be smoothed with a little water. Then leave the mixture to dry in the air (approx. 24 hours).
  • Then prime the dried bunnies with Decormatt acrylic in white. Allow the paint application to dry well.
  • In the meantime, cut out individual flowers from the colorful napkins. Only the top (printed) layer of the napkin is needed for the napkin technique. The other layers can be carefully removed.
  • Once the primer has dried, the flowers can be glued onto the bunnies. To do this, place the cut-out napkin flower on the bunny and cover with Marabu Decoupage & Serviette varnish and glue matt. Always paint from the center of the motif to the edge.
  • Paint the bunnies completely with Marabu Decoupage & Serviette varnish and glue matt. Leave to dry, done!
  • Finally, the pendants are decorated with colorful yarn.
