Paper bunny with Marabu GREEN and Paper

This colourful decorative bunny made of paper makes you long for spring. The little bunny is easy to create and glue together and looks great next to spring flowers such as daffodils and tulips.

How it is done:

  • First cut the GREEN paper into strips. You will need a total of 4 strips per bunny. The thickness of the strips can be chosen as desired. For our Easter bunnies we chose 2.7 cm, 2 cm and two times 1.7 cm.
  • Next, paint the strips on both sides with GREEN alkyd paint. Let the paint dry, then paint the back.
  • Now shape the two wider strips into rings and glue them down with GREEN multi-purpose glue. The thinner strip should be used to make a smaller ring, as this will form the rabbit's head.

Fold the last two strips in half once. Then fold the two ends back up again. Again, the length of the ears can be chosen freely. (Tip: Choose the ears slightly longer than the diameter of the head.) Then cut off the two ends so far that approx. 5 mm of gluing surface remains.
  • To make sure that the Easter bunny can stand upright, cut out a base of any shape from the paper and glue the bunny on.
