The child-friendly, water-based, odourless porcelain & glass paint marker is ideal for small hands and easy to use. Just remove the cap and start painting. The paint is dishwasher safe after firing (30 minutes, 160°C). The universal tip ensures beautiful, easy-to-achieve results. Cutting surfaces and drinking edges should not be painted as abrasion from cutlery can damage the painting. Enjoy plates and mugs, hand-painted by your children!

Dishwasher-safe up to 50°C after firing (fixing: 30 min./160°C in non-pre-heated oven)

Instruction: Clean the money box with an abrasive cleaner and a sponge before painting. Then rub off any finger prints with Marabu Cleaner or white spirit. Do not use a dishwasher for pre-cleaning. Start by writing with the markers on a piece of paper, then paint directly onto the money box. Leave the paint to dry for 4 hours. If the painted money box is to be fired in the oven, please remove the stopper first. Place the mug in the oven (do not preheat) and bake for 30 minutes at 160 °C. Leave to cool down in the oven. The money box is now dishwasher safe up to 50 °C. Note: Store the markers horizontally.

Omitting cutting areas and drinking edges

Cutting areas of plates and drinking edges of mugs and glasses should not be painted as cutlery could damage the designs.Dishes for everyday use

Glass and porcelain objects have to be cleaned thoroughly before painting. For especially effective cleaning, scrub the object with an abrasive detergent and a sponge and then wipe with Marabu Cleaner or with white spirit to ensure it is free from dust and grease. Before painting, rinse off all detergent residue with plenty of clean water.Fingerprints

When using Porcelain for KIDS, Porcelain Painter and Glas Painter with children please note: Do not touch the cleaned painting surface with your hands. Fingerprints can prevent the paint from adhering properly.

No food contact

Regarding the intended use of the Marabu Porcelain & Glass Painter KIDS, we would like to point out that the Marabu Porcelain & Glass Painter KIDS are only intended for decoration purposes, i.e. no food contact. We therefore recommend that you do not paint the cut surfaces, inner surfaces and drinking rim when designing e.g. cups, glasses, bowls and plates that are intended for food contact.

Baking the Porcelain & Glas Painter

Can Marabu Porcelain & Glas Painter also be baked?

Yes, it is recommended for dishwasher proof results. After letting it dry for at least 4 hours, place the object in the cold oven and heat to 160°C for 30 minutes. Let it cool down inside the oven after switching it off.

Pen does not write correctly

Turn the pen upside down so that the tip fills with ink.

Painting and designing dinnerware

Our porcelain, glass and acrylic paint (Glass Paint/Acrylic Paint/Porcelain & Glass Painter, Porcelain & Glass Painter KIDS) is basically non-toxic and also saliva-proof. Nevertheless, we recommend not to paint drinking rims and cut surfaces of tableware, as the paint is not approved for direct food contact.
