Chic stripes for Easter brunch with Marabu Porcelain
The plain white porcelain is perfect for Easter brunch. Stripes are in, why not in red and blue? It’s easy with the masking technique and porcelain paints.

IT’S EASY WHEN YOU KNOW HOW!
- We recommend that you wear disposable gloves while shaping the porcelain. This prevents skin grease from getting from the fingers onto the porcelain and affecting the adhesion of the paint.
How it is done:
- First pre-clean the porcelain with scouring milk and a sponge before painting. Then rinse 2-3 times in the dishwasher so that the finish is completely removed. Finally, clean thoroughly with Marabu Cleaner so that they are free of dust and grease.
- Cover the striped design with tape as desired.
- Stir the porcelain colours well and pour some colour onto a tear-off mixing palette. Pick up the paint with the stencilling brush and apply it between the stuck-on strips. Wait briefly and dab over again without paint. This avoids air bubbles.
- After application, peel off the tape and let the paint dry well. The paint is dust-dry after 30 minutes and dishwasher-safe after 3 days drying time. We recommend washing the painted porcelain in the glasses and cups programme at max. 50 °C.
