Sled shelf with Marabu GREEN alkyd paint
An old, worn-out sleigh does not have to be disposed of at all! From it can be built in no time yet a great shelf, which is great as a Christmas decoration for the interior or exterior.

How it is done:
- Sand the sled with a grinder or by hand with sandpaper. It is best to sand outside and cover the work area well beforehand. Remove dust and other impurities from the sled to create a good base for the paint. The sled must be clean, dry and dust-free.
- Cut two shelf boards from scrap wood that fit exactly between the sled cross braces and the runners. Also sand the shelf boards and round off the edges.
- Paint the sled as well as the shelves with GREEN Alkyd Paint in Pastel Blue in two coats. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly. Then attach the shelves to the sled - they can simply rest or be screwed.
