Tips and Tricks

  • The colour application of the YONO marker on smooth, non-absorbent surfaces is not waterproof, but can be wiped off again with a damp cloth. Therefore, the cup can only be used as a decorative object and not as a drinking vessel. For the design of drinking vessels such as glasses and porcelain mugs, we can recommend our Marabu Porcelain & Glass Painter.

How it is done:

  • Clean and dry the cup before painting. It should be clean and dry so that the paint can adhere optimally.
  • Before first use, shake the YONO markers with the cap closed for 60 seconds and gently press the tip onto some paper several times to activate the ink flow. Write on the marker on a piece of paper, then the cup can be labelled and designed.
  • Allow the paint to dry. On smooth, non-absorbent surfaces, the YONO marker can be wiped off again with a damp cloth. This is great if you ever paint yourself. For better durability, paint over the painting with Marabu spray paint. This way you can enjoy the motif for longer.
