School cone with Marabu Aqua-Lino printing colour

Whales are among the most intelligent animals in the world. In light of this, it goes without saying that they can be used to decorate this wonderful school cone for the first day at primary school, predominantly in Germany. The whales are simply applied with stamps and Aqua-Lino printing colour. This makes it easy to start school!

Tips and Tricks

  • Of course, you can also make your own stamps. Simply trace the desired motif with a pencil onto a Marabu Factis Rubber Carving Block. Then cut out the motif with a carving tool so that the motif remains raised. Finally, use the stamp you have created as described above.

How it is done:

  • Firstly, put some Aqua-Lino printing paint in a plastic container. Use a brush to apply the paint thinly and evenly onto the stamp.
  • Then place the stamp in the desired location on the school cone. Now stamp the cone with a colourful pattern of whales and other maritime motifs, such as seashells, starfish etc. However, do not stamp the tip of the school cone.
  • Now decorate the tip of the school cone with acrylic paint in a colour that fits with the theme.
  • Once the paint has dried, the school cone can be filled. Finally, use ribbons in matching colours to seal the school cone. For example, choose two ribbons in different colours placed one on top of the other.
