Make your own suncatchers with Marabu KiDS Window Color!

Sun catchers are great because they not only catch the sun’s rays, but also create colourful light effects in the room. However, sun catchers don’t always have to be made from expensive materials such as crystals or beads. Sometimes, all you need is some plastic packaging and some Marabu KiDS Window Color paints. Suddenly, the world becomes colourful!

Plastic packaging materials, such as fruit packaging and lids.

Needle, thread

How it is done:

Cover the work surface and gather together all the necessary materials.
Cut out different shapes, such as circles, stars and rectangles, from pieces of plastic packaging.
Use the colourful KiDS Window Color paints to paint the cut-out shapes as desired.
Leave the paint to dry thoroughly. If necessary, cut out the individual motifs.
Thread the individual pieces onto a needle with some yarn to connect them and form a chain. Finally, hang the chain in the window or outside on a tree.
