Tips and Tricks

For better durability, paint over the tray with Marabu spray paint.

How it is done:

Cover the working area and prepare the working materials. If necessary, clean the wooden tray before painting and sand it a little if necessary. Remove the sanding dust thoroughly. The tray should be clean, dry and dust-free.
First, carefully mask the inside edges of the tray with masking tape. Then the inside of the tray can be primed with Decormatt in white. Allow the primer to dry well.
As soon as the white primer has dried, the terrazzo pattern can be sketched out. To do this, use a pencil to create freehand patches of different sizes and shapes.
Before first use, shake the YONO markers with the cap closed for 60 seconds and gently press the tip onto some paper several times to activate the ink flow. When the tip is full of ink, write on the test paper.
Then colour in the spots on the tray with the YONO markers in the different colours.
