Did you know?
Our Marabu TIE DYE INK is water-based and vegan. It is ideal for light-colored, unfinished textiles with a maximum synthetic fiber content of 20%. Once fixed, the ink is washable at up to 40°C.
Choose from 12 vibrant colors in 80-ml bottles or two great all-in-one sets—perfect for creative DIY projects!
Here’s how it works:
- Thoroughly cover your work surface and put on gloves.
- Spray both sides of the fabric with water.
- Secure it with rubber bands.
- Dye both sides, kneading the dye thoroughly to ensure even distribution.
- Remove the rubber bands.
- Carefully unfold the fabric and hang it up to dry (e.g., with clothespins).
- After drying, set the dye:
— In a preheated oven (8 minutes at 150°C).
— Or with an iron (three minutes at the cotton setting). Place a cloth
over the area, which should be approximately 30 by 30 cm.
